Forced to withdraw from the Seamaster Qatar 2016 ITTF World Tour Grand Finals owing to illness; Ding Ning was unable to save Beijing from defeat in round 15 of the Chinese Women’s Super League on Wednesday 14th December.

Meanwhile for the winner in Doha, Zhu Yuling, it was a different scenario; she guided Shandong Luneng to victory and, alongside Anxin, top spot in the table.
