THE ALPHA PROGRAM
The Athlete Learning Program about Health and Anti-Doping (ALPHA) is an e-learning tool that provides positive solutions to athletes to stay clean. The learning process includes six sessions based on the same structure: a motivational scenario is presented, placing the learner in a position where he/she has to help a teammate solve a problem. The learner is then provided with material such as a tutorial and other information/resources, and a moral reasoning activity. This allows the learner to help his/her teammates, by explaining the “how” and “why” of the solution.
THE PLAY TRUE QUIZ AND YOUTH QUIZ
The PlayTrue Quiz is an interactive computer game that tests athletes’ knowledge about anti-doping. It is currently available in 36 languages.
The Youth Quiz targets a younger audience by providing them core anti-doping information that better suits their level. This interactive tool has been featured at the Youth Olympic Games and other youth events. It is currently available in 34 languages.
THE COACHTRUE PROGRAM
The CoachTrue program is a computer-based anti-doping learning tool designed to cater the various learning styles and demanding schedules of coaches. It has different modules covering all anti-doping processes as well as tutorials, scenario-based activities and quizzes. Once coaches have completed all required elements, including a final assessment of learning (post-test), they are awarded a certificate of completion.
THE COACH’S TOOL KIT
The Coach’s Tool Kit provides coaches with material that can be integrated directly into existing coach education curriculum or used as a stand-alone workshop.
FOR SPORT PHYSICIANS
THE SPORT PHYSICIAN’S TOOL KIT
The material contained in the Sport Physician’s Tool Kit is intended to help sport physicians develop anti-doping education programs which can be adapted and customized to suit local cultures, conditions and resources.
