Claims of Mr Al-Mohannadi in breach of several items related to the ITTF constitution were false. No basis for further action to be taken against Mr Al-Mohannadi for any breach of the ITTF constitution.

In February, numerous letters, both anonymous and those sent by Swiss Table Tennis, were sent around the world and to the media claiming Mr Al-Mohannadi was in breach of several items related to the ITTF constitution.

The ITTF following due constitutional rules and procedures then passed these documents to the ITTF Integrity Unit for review.

The ITTF Integrity Officer, on behalf of the ITTF Integrity Unit, after careful review of the submitted evidence and various interviews with related parties found that there was no basis for further action to be taken against Mr Al-Mohannadi for any breach of the ITTF constitution and all matters related to these false claims were closed on the 4th of June.

Mr Al-Mohannadi stated: “The ITTF constitution needs serious reform so that future persons can not be easily attacked with false, misleading or defamatory statements.” He further stated that he reserves the right to take further actions against those whom have tried to tarnish his name.
