Furthermore, Adriana will be travelling from her home in Utuado, high in the centre of the Caribbean Island, in style. She will wear personalized socks that reflect her interests and support for the country.

The trend-setting designs follow an initiative by Yessica Delgado, the Founder and Creative Director of A Medias LLC. Launched a new collection of socks, they approached Adriana who was asked to detail three subjects that reflected her life. She gladly agreed!

Understandably Adriana chose table tennis. In addition, she displayed national pride by selecting Puerto Rico. The one further option was her leisure time, watching movies.

Feet up, time to relax

“Adriana is a young athlete who has a lot to give to this country; she has put the name of Puerto Rico on a high. We introduced her to the Adriana project; she and her team were super excited about the idea.” Yessica Delgado

Most significantly, there is no personal gain; proceeds will be donated to a non-profit organisation of Adriana’s choice. Adriana is supported by the National Olympic Committee and Puerto Rican Department of Recreation and Sport.

The stockings are now on sale in all Caribbean Cinemas theatres or via www.amediaspr.com at a cost of US$18.00; they’re available in all sizes for women and men.
