Montreux welcomed Europe’s strongest players for the second year running with the CCB 2019 Europe Top 16 Cup competition coming to town at the start of the month, an event which proved most profitable for athletes representing Germany.

Over in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico the top athletes from the North and Latin American continents met at the Universal 2019 ITTF Pan America Cup. Once again a common trend continued in the Men’s Singles tournament which leads up into the Pongcast question of the month:

“Which country has won every Men’s Singles title at the Pan American Cup since its formation?”

Comment your answer on the Pongcast via the ITTF Facebook page and share the video for a chance to win a piece of gear from Nittaku. The winner will be picked at random.

February also saw new territory for the ITTF Challenge Series as Portugal played host to the first-ever ITTF Challenge Plus event. There’s also exciting news surrounding the 2020 ITTF World Tour schedule so be sure to watch right through to the end of the video.
