Immediately following a three day training camp, comprising both members of the national team and beginners, will be staged from Tuesday 29th to Thursday 31st January.

A long journey from the Venezuelan capital city of Caracas, a flight of over 6,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean, on arrival in Luanda, Luisana Perez was welcomed by the leading members of Angola Table Tennis Federation. Present to offer his greetings was Antonia Ribeiro, the President, alongside Manuel Morais, the Secretary-General and Manuel Pimenta, the Head Coach.

“I appreciate the confidence of the International Table Tennis Federation for continuing to support the development of our sport in the world. As a Venezuelan and Latin American, it fills me with satisfaction to leave the greatest possible legacy in this mission. Everything is ready and I am sure it will be a great course.” Luisana Perez

Increasingly one of the most active course conductors, it is for Luisana Perez very much an adventure.

She has enjoyed notable success at Latin American Championships, she has played in World Championships and she has represented her country at the Olympic Games. The career record is very complete but in what is now some 30 years of involvement in the sport of table tennis, it is her first ever visit to Angola; coaching opens new doors.
