Wins as predicted, it was very much the same in the remaining second round Under 21 Women’s Singles matches. Hong Kong’s Minnie Soo Wai Yam, the top seed and Belgium’s Lisa Lung, the no.8 seed, alongside Korea Republic’s Shin Yubin, the 7 seed, all overcame Indian adversaries.

The end of the road for Lee Yearam, it was the same for colleague Ryu Hanna; the no.16 seed, she was beaten by Chinese Taipei’s Lin Chia-Hsuan, the no.5 seed (11-5, 13-11, 11-2).
