Currently, this year’s Hopes players are preparing for the 2018 ITTF World Hopes Week and Challenge in Alicante, Spain; now ITTF High Performance and Development is looking towards 2019.

Bids to host the 2019 ITTF World Hopes Week and Challenge are officially open.

The ITTF Hopes Week and Challenge is the flagship event of the global Hopes Programme. It offers the opportunity for the host nation to highlight their own Hopes initiatives by giving players in the Under 12 age group from around the world the opportunity to meet, train and compete; eventually to become part of the Hopes team at the World Cadet Challenge.

All of these components are driven by the guiding principles of Global Reach, Road to Excellence and Quality.

Closing date for applications is Monday, 10 June; the selection will be advised on or before Friday, 29 June.
