Situated in the Andes Mountain range, the Colombian city of Medellin, the capital of the department of Antioquia was the recent home for an ITTF/PTT Level One Course; proceedings commenced on Wednesday 1st November and concluded on Sunday 5th November.

Organised under the auspices of the ITTF Development Programme, the expert on duty was Raul Fernando Valencia Posada.

A total of 29 students, 27 men and two women attended; impressively, in addition to Antioquia, the course members travelled from Bogota, Bolivar, Cauca, Boyacá, Santander, Meta, Atlántico, Valle and Pereira.

Venue for the whole itinerary was the University of Antioquia; the premises proved ideal with rooms being made available for theory meetings and a hall which accommodated eight tables being provided for practical sessions.

Theory sessions were held in the morning, practical sessions in the afternoon. Most impressively there was a full attendance by all the students.

Positive replies, thanks to the efforts of Raul Fernando Valencia Posada a most successful course was completed.
