Ayodele Fayose, the Governor of Ekiti State, located in south west Nigeria, is a table tennis player.

On Sunday 24th September he demonstrated his skills. Dressed in black jeans with a green tinted shirt, dark glasses; Ayodele Fayose was surrounded by locals who delighted in the efforts of the number one citizen of the state.

Every table is a table tennis table, every person is a table tennis player; that fact was indelibly underlined.

Ayodele Fayose played in the street, a large plank of wood for a table, makeshift bats and a net, it was time for action.

The pictures of the memorable moment were released on social media by the Governor’s Special Adviser on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka.
