Warsaw, the capital city of Poland is named as the home for the 2017 Coaching Conference staged by the European Table Tennis Union.

Proceedings will commence on Sunday 8th October and conclude on Tuesday 10th October.

Now a well-established annual event, accommodation will be provided at the four star Airport Hotel Okecie Hotel. The Coaching Conference is part of the ETTU Development Programme and it is primarily intended for the benefit of coaches within the European Table Tennis Union. However, coaches from outside the boundaries of the old continent are welcome.

Organised in four hour sessions, China’s Li Xiaodong and Japan’s Riki Watanabe will be the principal lecturers.

Li Xiaodong will address the subjects entitled: the road to advanced table tennis plus an analysis of the six stages of the development, for Riki Watanabe, the Japanese way of teaching and the latest situation with regards to plastic ball are the subjects on offer.

Matters will be directed by Neven Cegnar, the ETTU Development Manager.
