An integral part of the Talent Identification and Selection initiative organized by the European Table Tennis Union in conjunction with the International Table Tennis Federation, known as Eurotalents, the third Development Camp for the players selected in 2014 and 2015 commenced on Monday 29th August.

Directed by Neven Cegnar, the ETTU Development Manager, proceedings were organized in co-operation with the Luxembourg/Chinese Table Tennis College.

The coaching is under the direction of Li Xiadong, Feng Zhe, Zheng Chaoying, Xia Cheng and Martin Osterman.

“We also have eight top sparing partners from China aged between 18 and 22 years of age; this is a great opportunity for our players to make a step forward in their development. Every evening we analyze the training with Chinese coaches.” Neven Cegnar

A total of 17 young players are present, alongside 12 coaches.
