“I am convinced that table tennis can be used in a change making way at many levels. I will give my best to build a strong foundation able to reach as many people as possible throughout the world; a special focus being on minority groups and the underprivileged. Table tennis is more than a great sport.
The threshold to start playing is very low as the materials needed are minimal; even without any technical knowledge, everybody can play. It is a perfect scenario for the ITTF Foundation to grow. I hope that the table tennis community worldwide, the ITTF Family and our existing partners and sponsors commit actively to this initiative which serves to promote solidarity and attract new supporters for this cause.”
