* Mr Imre KOVACSICS (HUN) and Mr Alaor AZEVEDO (BRA) were found not to meet the eligibility requirements for candidacy and were therefore declared ineligible on 12 November 2025. Given the timing of the decisions and taking into account the appeal rights established under Article 10.26 of the ITTF Statutes, the Nominations Committee resolved to maintain the names of Mr. Kovacsics and Mr. Azevedo on the ballot for the elections scheduled to take place on 15 November 2025. This means that if either of these two candidates is elected, the validity of their election shall be conditional upon: (1) the filing of an appeal before the ITTF Tribunal against the Nominations Committee’s decision, and (2) the appeal being upheld.
