In 1926, the first ITTF World Table Tennis Championships took place in London. In 2026, the sport returns home to celebrate its centenary.

From 28 April to 10 May 2026, London will host the ITTF World Table Tennis Championships Finals—marking 100 years since both the World Championships and the ITTF itself were founded in the British capital. It is a once-in-a-century homecoming, and teams from across the globe are now securing their places at this historic celebration.
