Wang Chuqin has climbed back to the top of the ITTF Table Tennis World Ranking after his victory at WTT Champions Macao, moving past Lin Shidong.
His return crowns an outstanding run at major events, highlighted by his first men’s singles World Championship title in Doha this May.
It is Wang’s first week back at No 1 since February. He previously held the position for 47 consecutive weeks.
Wang is once again the man to beat. The upcoming events will show how firmly he can hold on to the top spot this time.
