Table tennis a major sport, play on each day of competition

Commencing on Friday 29th July, concluding on Monday 8th August, the English city of Birmingham was the home for the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

India’s Sharath Kamal Achanta emerged the most successful male player; he secured gold in the men’s team, men’s singles and mixed doubles events; in the men’s doubles it was silver.

Meanwhile, for the women, Singapore’s Feng Tianwei led Singapore to team success before adding the women’s doubles and women’s singles titles.

Additionally, she won the David Davies award for being the most outstanding athlete in the whole Games
