ITTF High Performance & Development is now inviting bids for the 2023 ITTF World Hopes Week & Challenge. The flagship event of ITTF’s global talent identification Hopes program features 40 of the world’s top talent scouted within the continents at the Continental Hopes Weeks.

The activity offers the opportunity for the host nation to highlight their own Hopes initiatives by giving Hopes players from around the world the opportunity to meet, train and compete.

The ITTF World Hopes Week and Challenge provides a platform for:

  • Talent Identification
  • Coach Education
  • Training Camp
  • Tournament Challenge

The educational aspect plays a central role during the World Hopes week, with educational sessions for players and coaches on the schedule throughout the activity.

Sustainability will be a factor in the selection process, with potential hosts invited to outline their efforts in making the activity more sustainable if selected.

Closing date for applications is Friday 24 June; the selection will be announced on or before Friday, 22 July.
