Day 11 at Tokyo 2020 is set to host five cracking head-to-head contests, one of which will identify the first Team’s medallist.
Tuesday’s play commences at 10.00 local time, with Japan facing Sweden in the Men’s Team quarter-finals on table one and Germany meeting the Republic of Korea in the Women’s Team draw on table two.
Then we’ll see top seed China continue its Women’s Team title defence against Singapore from 14.30 in a repeat of the Beijing 2008 final, while Germany and Chinese Taipei do battle in the session’s Men’s Team encounter.
The day concludes with the first semi-final of the Women’s Team event as fourth seed Hong Kong, China takes on hosts Japan at 19.30, with the winner guaranteed a medal finish in the Japanese capital.
