Originally scheduled to commence in Georgetown, Guyana on Sunday 10th March, the 2019 Caribbean Senior Championships will now be staged from Monday 25th to Sunday 31st March; the tournament will be immediately preceded by the Lima 2019 Pan American Games Caribbean qualifier on Sunday 24th March.

There is no change to the venue; both events will be staged in Cliff Anderson Sports Hall in Georgetown, Guyana; the Referee will be Colombia’s Yoanna Ramirez, the Director of Rules and Umpiring for the Latin American Table Tennis Union.

Other than changes to dates, proceedings are as previously advised.

At the conclusion of proceedings the leading three outfits in each of the Men’s Team and Women’s Team events will qualify for the Pan American Games to be held in Lima from Friday 26th July to Monday 11th August.

Throughout, the new Olympic Games system will be used; three players per team, five matches should the contest extend the full distance, no player eligible for more than two matches and the doubles to start proceedings.

Play will be conducted on a knock-out basis and administered according to rules and regulations pertinent to the Olympic Games. An official delegation comprises, four men, four women, two coaches and one delegates; all being required to accept the official hospitality package.

A meeting for delegates will be held on Saturday 23rd March; Stag tables and Raise balls will be used.
