It is an open invitation. Therefore not all nominations may be accepted. Furthermore only nominations submitted by bona fide national associations will be considered.
Full hospitality, will be provided from dinner on Wednesday 14th November to breakfast on Monday 19th November; accommodation is in a twin room, the hotel being opposite the venue, some 50 metres distant. Each umpire will receive a daily allowance of €25.00 per competition day, according to ITTF regulations.
All invited umpires must organise their own transport to the region as well as travel and medical insurance. Local transport will be provided from and to Almeria Airport (IATA Code: LEI) as well as Almeria Railway Station and Almeria Bus Station. In addition, all invited umpires are responsible for early arrival and late departure.
Should a nominated umpire require a visa, kindly send relevant details when submitting the nomination (full name as in passport, date of birth, place of birth, passport number, expiry date of passport); a letter of invitation will be provided. The issuance of a visa is at the sole discretion of the embassy or consulate in question.
Umpires must wear the international umpiring uniforms as described in the Handbook for Match Officials.
Referee for the tournament is Francesco Nuzzo, the Deputy Referee is Carlos Zapata.
The closing date for nominations is Wednesday 10th October. The list of umpires accepted will be advised on or before Wednesday 17th October.
