Only 12 years old, a member of the Singapore Youth Training Squad, she won the Under 12 and Under 15 Girls’ Singles titles, as well as securing the top step of the podium in the Women’s Singles event.
Success and success in a prestigious domestic tournament; one which underlines the popularity of the sport in the city state and one which endorses the fact, that there is a solid base for progress.

“This tournament has helped to promote the sport and build a vibrant sporting scene across the Republic. This year, the tournament attracted over 820 entries, making it one of the Singapore Table Tennis Association’s most popular events. In addition, we had the oldest participant Johnson Chew How Kiang at 68 years old and the youngest member Zhang Yi Han at six years old participating in this annual event.” Laura Wong
