Staged from Wednesday 17th to Saturday 20th October in Lasko/Celje, Slovenia, the full list of officials for the 2018 World Para Championships is now confirmed.

A total of 26 umpires representing 17 national associations have been named by the ITTF Umpires and Referees Committee to conduct proceedings in the four day tournament.

They join the already named Technical Delegates and Referees’ Team.

Italy’s Francesco Nuzzo is the Technical Delegate, Brazil’s Edimilson Pinheiro fulfils the role of Deputy Technical Delegate; Slovenia’s Gorazd Vecko is the Technical Adviser.

Meanwhile, Hong Kong’s Cheong-Ki Chan is the Referee, the Deputy Referees being Slovenia’s Ales Sustarsic, Maria Tsipou of Greece and Slovakia’s Matej Hamran.

Four days of competition but there is plenty of activity prior to the first ball being struck in anger. Classification is held on Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th October, the days on which the venue will be available for practice; the Opening Ceremony will be held on Tuesday 16th October.

Venue for the whole proceedings is the Zlatorog hall in Celje. The most prestigious Para tournament of the year; it is a Factor 40 event for purposes of seeding.
