Reporting to the ITTF Marketing Director, the ITTF Content Manager will be based in the ITTF Asia-Pacific offices in Singapore and will be tasked with developing ITTF’s internal & external content and media promotions across all of ITTF’s platforms, including – but not limited to – websites, social media, digital media and e-campaigns, in order to increase ITTF’s fanbase.
- Creating a clear strategy centred around how to use all of ITTF’s content to ensure that ITTF’s events, players and activities are being promoted.
- Writing press-releases and creating e-campaigns to engage fans alongside management of all articles, photos and promotional material on ITTF.com. This will include the management and direction of the ITTF website writers as well as writing your own articles.
- Assisting with the management of ITTF’s social media to ensure it is linking in with ITTF’s overall content strategy
- Attending ITTF events in the role of ITTF press officer/content creator and working closely with top players to develop their public persona through their social, digital and traditional media networks.
Candidates for the position of ITTF Content Manager should hold relevant tertiary education in Journalism, Communications and/or Sports Management and five years’ experience working within a news agency or a sporting team/club/federation in a media/communications role. Professional capacity to work in multiple languages, in particular French and/or Spanish and experience within the sport of Table Tennis are desirable qualities.
