Men’s and Women’s Singles event are planned in five age groups with play being organised in two stages; the first phase will be on a group basis with players finishing in first and second positions advancing to the main draw, where matters will be conducted in a knock-out basis.
In the age groups for players over 50 years of age, consolation events will be staged. Furthermore, with priority being given to the leading eight names, players from a more senior category may elect to compete in the Over 40 class.
A maximum of 32 players will be accepted in each event, a minimum of eight players for the event to be staged.
Meanwhile, Men’s Doubles and Women’s Doubles events will be organised in four age category, player being on the knock-out principle throughout.
The recommended hotel is the Mannu Hotel, some 200 metres from the venue, the cost of a single room per night is €40.00, a double room €60.00; the cost of lunch is €15.00, the same price for dinner. The tournament entry fee is €50.00 per player which includes discounted accommodation or €10.00 without accommodation.

Men’s Singles and Women’s Singles: 60 years to 69 years (born 1958 or earlier)
Men’s Singles and Women’s Singles: 70 years to 75 years (born 1948 or earlier)
Men’s Singles and Women’s Singles: 75 years and over (born 1943 or earlier)
Men’s Doubles and Women’s Doubles: 40 years to 49 years (born 1978 or earlier)
Men’s Doubles and Women’s Doubles: 50 years to 59 years (born 1968 or earlier)
Men’s Doubles and Women’s Doubles: 60 years to 69 years (born 1958 or earlier)
Men’s Doubles and Women’s Doubles: 70 years and over (born 1948 or earlier)
