Success against fellow qualifiers, Romania’s Alina Zaharia and Korea’s Kim Yedam emerged as biggest surprise names to reserve quarter-final places in the Under 21 Women’s Singles event at the 2017 Belgium Junior and Cadet Open in De Haan, following the second round of action on the evening of Thursday 2nd November.

However, they were not totally alone; there was one more name to raise the eyebrows; that of Daria Trigolos of Belarus who had started proceedings as the no.14 seed.
