Croatian club Dr. Casl began its Group C campaign with a 3-1 home victory against ALCL TT Grand-Quevilly on match day one and were even more ruthless in the second group encounter.

Szekszard AC provided the opposition as Dr. Casl travelled to Hungary in search of a second consecutive win, and the Croatian side got off to the perfect start following Zhou Xintong’s straight games triumph over Polina Mikhailova (6-11, 9-11, 3-11) in the opening fixture of the match.

Li Jie extended the visiting team’s advantage with a competent display against Dora Madarasz (9-11, 6-11, 11-13) before Fu Yu completed the win by condemning Ruta Paskauskiene to a clean sweep loss (6-11, 7-11, 9-11).

KTS Tarnobrzeg registered its second win of the new Champions League campaign following a successful outing against Cp Lyssois Lille Metropole.

While Han Ying was able to give the away side KTS Tarnobrzeg the early lead in France with a three games to nil victory over Tamolwan Khetkhuan (3-11, 7-11, 4-11), the advantage was short lived as Cp Lyssois Lille Metropole’s Bernadette Szocs saw off fellow countrywoman Elizabeta Samara (12-10, 8-11, 16-14, 11-7) to draw the scoreboard level.

However, the home side failed to capitalise on the momentum shift as Li Qian and Elizabeta Samara picked up respective wins against Agnes Le Lannic (8-11, 1-11, 4-11) and Tamolwan Khetkhuan (9-11, 8-11, 11-9, 6-11) to earn two group points for the visiting team.

TTC Berlin Eastside extended its lead at the top of Group D with a fine performance away to TT Saint-Quentinois, while Turkish side Bursa Buyuksehir Belediyespor claimed a 1-3 win against UCAM Cartagena TM in Group C.
