Notable progress in recent times, the Table Tennis Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran is looking forward to the New Year with great hope; a plan has been designed with the focus on young players.

Organising a programme in conjunction with the Chinese Table Tennis Association is the project being put in place.

Recently, Mahmood Nazari, the Secretary-General and Reza Nobahar, the International and Educational Advisor visited the Chinese cities of Beijing and Shanghai as well as spending time in Shandong Province.

Furthermore, in the opposite direct Liu Sai arrived in the Islamic Republic of Iran on Tuesday 24th November. She stayed in Iran about one month; her presence proving a rewarding experience for all concerned.

A training camp was held prior to the Iranian Women’s Team leaving for the Finlandia Open.

Staged at the Kisakallio Sports Institute in Lohja from Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th December, alongside head coach Dr. Fatemeh Keyvani; Neda Shahsavari, Maryame Samet and Fatemeh Jamalifar were the players on duty.

In addition, a Hopes Week was arranged before Liu Sai, who is well known to the likes of Chinese stars, Li Xiaoxia and Chen Meng returned to China.
