Stand still and you go backwards; innovate and you move forward, the latter is the principle on which the new website for the International Table Tennis Federation is based.

Technology progresses ever faster, the new website keeps pace with the latest advancements by introducing new exciting and dynamic features but of course change takes times; thus we ask for your patience.

Members of the ITTF professional staff have been working tirelessly to make the changes from the site that has served so well, since being introduced when the internet was in its infancy some two decades ago.

Immediately prior to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, the new website was launched; continually new features are added. The recently concluded 2016 ITTF World Tour Swedish Open witnessed the start of a new format for tournament pages, with results displayed from the database in a new, cleaner and user friendly format. More features are planned.

However, during the transition period, the old website remain functional but with the following changes:

The URL for new website is: https://www.ittf.com

The URL for the old website is: http://old.ittf.com

Also, it is necessary to update documents and similar links; during the interim period these will be uploaded to http://old.ittf.com

Later, when the new website is fully operational, all documents will be uploaded to the new website.

Your patience is appreciated; enjoy watching the evolution of the home of table tennis: ITTF.com
