The one remaining win for Shandong Luneng was recorded by Ding Ning, in the second match of the fixture she beat Liu Gaoyang, the Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games gold medallist, in five games (4-11, 11-5, 8-11, 11-5, 7-4). The one success for Anxin was secured in the doubles, Liu Gaoyang and Feng Yalan combined to beat Xheng Dandan and Li Jiayuan (11-13, 11-9, 11-3).

Defeat for Anxin, there was also defeat for Bayi, the league leaders and it was a resounding defeat. The trio formed by Liu Xin, Mu Zi and Sun Mingyang suffered a three-nil defeat at the hands Shandong Qilu who commenced round eight in second spot alongside Anxin and Shandong Luneng.

Wu Yang gave Shandong Qilu the ideal start by beating Liu Xin (11-1, 15-13, 11-9), before Chen Xingtong defeated Mu Zi (11-9, 4-11, 11-5, 6-11, 7-5) and a doubles success for Chen Xingtong and Wen Jia over Liu Xin and Sun Mingyang ended matters (9-11, 11-7, 11-5).

An impressive performance from Shandong Qilu it was the same from Shendong Luneng; they beat Sichuan in a similarly emphatic manner. Zhu Yuling accounted for Yang Huijing (11-6, 8-11, 11-7, 8-11, 11-7), before Li Xiaodan defeated Guo Yan (12-10, 11-6, 11-3) and a doubles contest closed the curtain. Gu Yuting and Li Xiaodan defeated Guo Lin and Zhou Yihan in straight games (11-7, 11-7).

Meanwhile, in the two remaining contests, it was success for Jilin and for Shenzhen.

Jilin with Chen Ke, Liu Fei and Wang Manyu in action overcame the Ordos outfit comprising Li Jiayi, Miu Hirano, Zhang Qiang and Zhang Qiang by three matches to one; the same result as was achieved by the Shenzhen Team of Chen Meng, He Zhuojia and Sun Yingsha against the Shanxi outfit of Che Xiaoxi, Guo Yichen and Jiang Yue.

The outcome is that Shandong Luneng and Shandong Qilu share top spot ahead of Bay and Beijing who are just one point adrift. Anxin drops to fifth place alongside Shenzhen with Jilin now being in seventh place ahead of Shanxi and Ordos.

Sichuan remains rooted at the foot of the table.
