Congratulations are in order for Dimitrij Ovtcharov and his wife Jenny (both 28) who have become proud parents of Emma, their newborn baby girl.

Dimitrij Ovtcharov announced the news on his official Facebook page accompanied by the following text: “Emma, our little princess is born. I’m so proud on my wonderful wife Jenny. Thx for all your support and love!”

Jenny Ovtcharov (formerly known as Jenny Mellström) was a former Table Tennis player herself and even competed at the European Youth Championships where she met Dimitrij, both were 15 years old at the time, before the two married in 2013.

Emma’s birth comes after her father Dimitrij returned home from Rio 2016 where he won bronze in the Men’s Team event with Germany.
