After three successful editions of the ITTF Summit, it has become clear that the initiative is a valuable platform for fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and stronger ties among Member Associations. The positive impact of the Summit has inspired ITTF to extend the concept even further.
Starting this year, each ITTF World Championships—Finals, Youth, Esports, Para, and Masters—will have its own dedicated Summit. Each event will focus on the specific needs, challenges, and opportunities of their respective athletes and stakeholders.
The first step in this exciting new direction begins in Helsingborg, Sweden, in 50 days, where the first-ever ITTF World Esports Championships and the ITTF World Youth Championships will take place.
ITTF Esports Summit (27-28 November)
Taking place alongside the inaugural ITTF World Esports Championships, the Esports Summit will provide a platform for discussions on navigating the rapidly evolving world of esports, engaging with new player communities, and exploring novel ways to deliver events in virtual spaces.
ITTF Youth Development Summit (26 November)
Held during the ITTF World Youth Championships, this Summit will address key topics like talent identification, coaching development, and innovative educational practices to ensure the continued growth and success of young athletes.
Renowned experts and guest speakers will join both events to provide thought-provoking insights and share best practices. The full programme and more information will be announced soon.
