Following a fascinating start to the Men's Team and Women's Team events at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, the drama continues on Monday 2nd August with eight exciting head-to-heads on the cards.

The opening day of the Team’s events provided plenty of talking points, and Monday’s fixture line-up promises to be just as intriguing.

Starting at 10.00 local time, the four-remaining round of 16 encounters open the day’s programme, including a fascinating head-to-head between France and Singapore.

Two times a medallist in the Women’s Team event, Singapore enters the match with high expectations, but the French team will feel inspired after their male colleagues caused a major upset against Hong Kong, China, on day nine.

Then, from 14.30, Hong Kong, China takes on Romania in the first Women’s Team quarter-final, while Brazil and the Republic of Korea do battle in the corresponding Men’s Team event.

China, France, Chinese Taipei and Japan all have interest in the closing session of the day scheduled for 19.30, with semi-final tickets up for grabs.
