The 26 year old is no stranger to the prestigious tournament, possessing a most balanced and realistic approach; she wants to do well but equally like many others, the majority, she wants to enjoy the occasion

“I always look forward to participate and play at a World Championships; it is the most important tournament of the year. So far I have participated at nine World Championships, Budapest will be my tenth participation.” Sarah de Nutte

Now with experience could Budapest prove to be her most successful?

“I want to reach the round of 32 as I hope to be in good shape for the tournament. I think it is a very special tournament because only the best from each country will be there. Furthermore it is nice to see people from so many different countries. There is always a special atmosphere because of the importance of this tournament.” Sarah de Nutte

Currently, Sarah de Nutte is listed at no.74 on the women’s world ranking list; her best was last year in March when she reached no.57.
