Staged in Cancun from Monday 24th to Saturday 29th June, the Mexican Table Tennis Federation invites 15 International Umpires to officiate at the 2019 ITTF Pan American Junior Championships.

It is an open invitation and therefore not all nominated umpires may be accepted. Only nominations submitted by bona fide national associations and received by the deadline date will be considered.

Furthermore, it is ITTF policy to encourage female participation whenever possible, kindly consider this fact when returning nominations.

Nominations may be submitted as follows:

…………International Umpires who have achieved Blue Badge status, or, alternatively, have attended a certified ITTF Advanced Umpire Training Course and passed the Advanced Rules Examination.

…………International Umpires (White Badge) who have been active internationally for at least two years but have not yet attended an ITTF Advanced Umpire Training Course. Any nominee in this category should be a new umpire, capable of achieving Blue Badge status within two years.

An Advanced Umpire Training Course will be conducted on Sunday 23rd June from 08.30 am to 6.00 pm; thus arrival for White Badge umpires is Saturday 22nd June. All White Badge Umpires selected must attend and sit the Advanced Rules Examination. Participants or their associations are responsible for all fees (US$50 for both or US$30 for each) and extra accommodation costs. Field of play evaluations will be conducted

Should a nominated umpire require a visa, kindly send relevant details when submitting the nomination (full name as in passport, date of birth, place of birth, passport number, expiry date of passport). A letter of invitation will be provided. Please note that all costs associated with the visa application are the responsibility of the applicant and the issuance of a visa is at the sole discretion of the relevant Consulate or Embassy.

All invited umpires must organize their own transportation to the region; transportation from and to Cancun International Airport (IATA Code: CUN) will be arranged. Hospitality will be provided from lunch on Sunday 23rd June to breakfast on Sunday 30th June. Each umpire will receive a daily allowance per competition day according to ITTF regulations. Accommodation will be in a twin room.

The closing date for nominations is Saturday 13th April; the names of those accepted will be advised on or before Thursday 18th April
