Frenchman Benjamin Brossier has confirmed his participation in the 2018 ITTF Challenge Seamaster Nigeria Open; the Frenchman is hoping that Lagos, being unfamiliar territory, will bring good tidings.

Play commences in country’s capital city with the qualification tournament on Wednesday 8th August.

Having missed the 2017 edition, Benjamin Brossier believes he is ready to be very much part of the party.

“I heard that there is a good and special atmosphere in the hall where the ITTF Challenge Seamaster Nigeria Open is being hosted. It has been described as a unique atmosphere that you don’t see anywhere else. My friend, Antoine Hachard, was part of the tournament in 2017 and I wanted to join him but I was not available. This year it is going to be a good experience for me to be there and witness the lively atmosphere in Lagos. Benjamin Brossier

Most certainly, Benjamin Brossier is looking forward to the Lagos experience and anticipates a well organised event.

“I am waiting to see a well organised tournament; a good atmosphere and I hope that I will play well and contribute to all the beautiful experience of which I have heard; this is not my first time in Africa but this is my first time in Nigeria. My target is to play at a good level throughout.” Benjamin Brossier

Currently Benjamin Brossier is the 24th highest listed player on duty in the Men’s Singles event; in the Men’s Doubles he partners Antoine Hachard
