Organised under the direction of Neven Cegnar, the Development Manager for the European Table Tennis Union, the players are present at the National Training Centre in Tokyo for a nine day itinerary.
Proceedings commenced on Saturday 22nd October and will conclude on Monday 31st October.
“We practise in the best possible conditions from 9.00am to 12.30pm and from 3.00pm to 6.30pm” said Neven Cegnar. “We hope the Japanese Table Tennis Association will become a long term partner.”
It is proposed that the concept will be developed further in 2017; the aim being to involve the best eight to ten players in the 15 years to 17 years age group.
