Fixtures based in the format that will be implemented at the forthcoming Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, the leading outfits spared no charity.

Chile with Gustavo Gomez resigned to the bench, recorded a 3-1 win against the no.5 seeds, the Guatemalan combination of Hector Gatica, Alan Gutierrez and Heber Moscoso. The mainstay of the Chilean victory being Manuel Moya; he accounted for both Allan Gutierrez (12-10, 11-2, 9-11, 11-8) and Heber Moscoso (11-6, 11-5, 11-6).

Impressive against Guatemala, with Gustavo Gomez replacing Andres Martinez, the Chileans were even more imposing in opposition to the no.3 seeds, the Dominican Republic trio of Samuel Galvez, Emil Santos and Isaac Vila. A 3-0 win was recorded; the Dominican Republic and Guatemala now meet to determine second place.

Similarly, the Cubans asserted authority. Selecting Jorge Campos, Carlos Hernandez and Livan Martinez, an opening 3-0 win was posted against the no.6 seeds, the El Salvadorian selection comprising Jaime Galeano, Enzo Leiva and Diego Orantes.

Backbone of the Cuban win was Andy Pereira. He joined forces with Livan Martinez to secure the doubles in opposition to Angel Naranjo and Jabdiel Torres (11-4, 11-7, 11-1), prior to bringing matters to a conclusion by overcoming Gabriel Perez (11-3, 11-4, 11-6).
