Ever more experienced, an outgoing personality, never afraid to hide his feelings; Mohamed El-Beiali currently plies his trade in the Turkish League where he represents Fenerbache.
“We are warming up for the World Championships, our preparation starts with participation in the Seamaster 2019 ITTF Challenge Plus Oman Open and we might also be heading to Germany for a training camp. I am ready for the tournament particularly following the matches I have been playing in my club. I am hoping that I can make a meaningful impact in Hungary. I am sure I am going to perform better than my previous outings in the tournament.” Mohamed El-Beiali
Most certainly Mohamed El-Beiali is most capable of causing an upset; memorably in 2015 in Cairo he ended the hopes of Nigeria’s Quadri Aruna at the African Senior Championships
“I want to do better than the first round exit in Germany. I want to exceed this stage and I know it promises to be tough but I am ready to do more in Hungary.” Mohamed El-Beiali
Notably Mohamed El-Beiali believes African players can do better and need to play outside the continent.
“I think if some of us had started playing earlier in Europe we could compete for podium places in major international tournaments but I am not giving up on African players making the podium in major competitions. This year, I think nobody can stop Fan Zhendong and I am looking forward to seeing Tomokazu Harimoto making the podium as well in Budapest.” Mohamed El-Beiali
Currently, Mohamed El-Beiali is named at no.110 on the men’s world .
