The “Pearl of the Danube” blossoms when Spring starts. Right on cue: between 21-28 April, the Hungarian capital will be hosting the year’s biggest Table Tennis event: the Liebherr 2019 ITTF World Championships!

Regarded as one of the world’s most beautiful cities and ranked seventh in Forbes’ list of “Europe’s most idyllic places to live,” Budapest is extremely popular with tourists, attracting approximately 4.4 million international visitors to the city every year.

Between 21-28 April, the globe’s greatest players will be in town for the Liebherr 2019 ITTF World Table Tennis Championships.

With the city flooded with tourists and Table Tennis fans, it’s set to be a carnival atmosphere throughout Budapest and tickets are selling fast for the big event being held at the Hungexpo, just as hotel rooms across the city are being booked up as speedily as one would expect at this busy time of year.

Your stay in Budapest will be an unforgettable one: incredible entertainment value from watching the world’s Table Tennis elite combined with the awe-striking beauty of the city which is not nicknamed the “Pearl of the Danube” by coincidence.

Make sure to visit the famed Széchenyi Baths, take a stroll along the Chain Bridge, take photos in front of the Parliament, climb the Citadel and explore Buda Castle.

Enjoy a plate of goulash, order a Lángos (fried dough), taste the best wines that the country has to offer and finish with a Dobos cake in order to get to know the real meaning of Hungarian cuisine before closing your day of course at the Hungaexpo along with the globe’s best Table Tennis players.

The best solution to combine everything is to buy daily or even session cards. Although the other types of passes are now mostly gone, the above categories are still available and can be reserved right here.
