by Wade Townsend

In this month’s ITTF Monthly Pongcast, catch up on all the table tennis action from around the world.

At the 2017 ITTF-African Cup, Egypt and Nigeria split the titles, while at the 2017 Pan America Cup the continents of North and South America shared the glory between them.

China and Russia dominated their respective continents as the Asian Junior and Cadet Championships and STAG European Youth Championships were played out.

The Seamaster Australia Open was the only World Tour event held in July. China’s Chen Meng took the top titles, while Vladimir Samsonov made history Down Under.

The event was also the stage for Paul Drinkhall and Yuya Oshima to amaze us with the point of the month.

And off the courts, ITTF President Thomas Weikart appointed key positions, including the position of acting CEO.

See this and more in the ITTF Monthly Pongcast.

Don’t forget to answer the Pongcast question of the month: How many World Tour Events has Vladimir Samsonov already won in his career?  Comment your answer on the Pongcast post via the ITTF Facebook page and share the video for a chance to win some Nittaku gear.
