Laszlo Bellak: 95

Laszlo Bellak, one of the greatest players of the Classic Golden age of Table Tennis, passed away at age 95. 'Laci' was one of the legendary Three Musketeers of Table Tennis, along with his lifelong pals, Victor Barna and Miklos Szabados.

He was a true superstar, racconteur, great entertainer, and a Charter Member of the ITTF Hall of Fame. In World Championships he won 7 Gold, 9 Silver and 3 Bronze medals, plus numerous Hungarian, European, and later, American national titles.

The ITTF Museum plans to create a special exhibit in his honor, reuniting Laci with his fellow Musketeers. While we mourn the loss of 'The Great Bellak', it is time now to celebrate his remarkable and long, vibrant life.
