It is with the deepest heartfelt feelings of sorrow that I send you my condolences for the sad passing away of the great Polish table tennis icon Andrzej Grubba at such a young age.
Grubba made his mark in the world of table tennis and was an excellent ambassador of our sport and of his country. In my mind, Grubba is only dead in the physical sense, as it is true that a person is only dead when he is no longer remembered. I can assure you that Grubba will live forever in our memories and in the memories of those that will follow us. His mark on our sport and its history will never be erased. In this sense, he will live forever.
