So as you see it's a long process and must have general support in order to be accepted. You should start with your idea at your National Association level.
I thank you for your interest and your input and I wish you a very Happy New Year.

Hi Adham,
It appears that the recent rule changes have been made to enhance the excitement for spectators (11 point games), to produce longer rallies (40mm ball) and to reduce the perception of unforced errors (new service rule). I would propose that the ITTF consider banning long-pips. In all other racket sports, the equipment is the same. The general public that we are trying to attract wonders why, what appears to be a normal return, is missed. Matches should be won by skill and not deception. While this may not be a huge problem at the Pro Tour level, it is definitely a problem to the non professionals. Why not keep the equipment uniform and have matches decided by skill alone. Cheers,
Wayne
