Your idea is great, Table Tennis Report is great to accept and of course Mr. Shibutani should be congratulated for his efforts.
I hope that you and your friends have a wonderful time on 28 April and that you serve as an example to others to do the same. I will post this message on our web-site (President's Forum) to inspire other fans to do the same as you. Congratulations.
Adham Sharara, ITTF President
Dear President Sharara,
I e-mailed you about changing rules last year. Thank you very much for answering to my question that time.
Now, I would like you to know the event I will hold to make
oppotunities for those who don't play tennis to watch "real" table tennis game.
Today table tennis doesn't appear in media so many time. TV is the best way to appeal to many people how great table tennis is. But I don't have such power as to make table tennis go on TV. Then a good idea occured to me. It was I would ask a professional table tennis to show his fantastic play in my shool festival. This idea looks also unrealistic but it is not.
Table Tennis Report, Japanese table tennis magazine, plans lessons by professional table tennis players for groups which thirty subscribers gather. I ask Table Tennis Report to change from a lesson to only those who play table tennis to a game in a shool festival to the public. Table Tennis Report answered "yes"!!
Furthermore, the player is Hiroshi Shibutani. He is a '99 Japanese champion and chopper. No one appeal tablet tennis fascination to the pubilic than him.
Maybe this event will be shown only about 300 people. But I'm filled with joy. The day is April 28. I'd like to share this joy with you as ardent table tennis fan.
Lastly, please do your best to make table tennis more popular. I will suport you innovation.
