The winner one week earlier in Guatemala, Chinese Taipei’s Huang Chien-Tu repeated his success one week later in neighbouring El Salvador and in fact went two steps further.
In Guatemala on Sunday 12th August 2012, he was to the fore; he won the Junior Boys’ Singles title and with Chen Yen-Heng Cadet Boys’ Doubles gold. However, he was beaten in the semi-finals of the Cadet Boys’ Singles by India’s Anirban Ghosh; having earlier in the proceedings he had to settle for Cadet Boys’ Team silv.... |

The winner earlier in the year in Malta and Mexico, Puerto Rico’s 18 year old Carelyn Cordero won the Junior Girls’ Singles title at the El Salvador Junior and Cadet Open, which concluded in the Central American country’s capital city of San Salvador, on Sunday 19th August 2012.
Occupying the top seeded position in the draw, she justified her exalted status by overcoming Sweden’s Maria Engelson, the no.5 seed, in the quarter-finals (11-6, 11-3, 12-14, 11-8), before ending Indian aspiratio.... |

Chinese Taipei’s Hung Hung and Puerto Rico’s Melanie Diaz excelled as matters commenced in the Junior Girls’ Singles event at the El Salvador Junior and Cadet Open on Saturday 18th August 2012.
Both excelled to beat highly seeded adversaries.
Hung Hung, only 13 years old, opened her account with a straight games win over Guatemala’s Lucia Cordero (11-4, 11-3, 11-6), before rising to the challenge to overcome Venezuela’s Gremlis Arvelo, the no.4 seed, in a similarly impressive fashi.... |

The leading players in both the Junior Boys’ and Junior Girls’ Singles events at the El Salvador Junior and Cadet Open, staged in the Central America’s principal city of San Salvador, all made fine starts to their campaigns on Saturday 18th August 2012.

Sweden and India ‘A’, the top seeds in the respective Junior Girls’ and Cadet Girls’ Team events at the El Salvador Junior and Cadet Open, concluded proceedings on Friday 17th August 2012, as status predicted.
Linda Bergström and Maria Engelson clinched the Junior Girls’ Team competition. They did not surrender one single individual match in the group stage of proceedings on the opening day of action but on the second day of play, it was a somewhat different story.

The top seeds and never in serious danger of defeat, the combination of Chinese Taipei’s Lai Yi-Yao, Argentina’s Pablo Saragovi and New Zealand’s Kevin Wu won the Junior Boys’ Team title at the El Salvador Junior and Cadet Open, staged in the Central American country’s capital city of San Salvador, on Friday 17th August 2012.
At no stage of the competition were they ever seriously threatened; they recorded three-nil wins in every contest in the first stage of proceedings and they maintain.... |

Success came the way of the top three seeds in the Junior Boys’ Team event at the El Salvador Junior and Cadet Open on the first day of play, Thursday 17th August 2012, in the country’s capital city of San Salvador but for the fourth seeds there were problems.
The combination of Argentina’s Pablo Saragovi, Chinese Taipei’s Lai Yi-Yao and New Zealand’s Kevin Wu, the top seeds, enjoyed a trouble free day; they completed their first stage matches in top place in their group.
