Former ITTF World Hopes Team Members Secure Czech Republic Cadet Titles |

2012 Czech Junior & Cadet Open - ITTF Premium Junior Circuit,15 Feb 2012 - 19 Feb 2012, Hodonin, CZE
Seasoned campaigners, although only 14 years old, Hong Kong’s Hung Ka Tak and Thailand’s Tamolwan Khetkuen, won the respective Cadet Boys’ and Cadet Girls’ Singles titles at the Czech Junior and Cadet Open on Sunday 19th February 2012.
Both are past members of the ITTF World Hopes Team; Hung Ka Tak was a member in 2010, Tamolwan Khetkuen one year earlier in 2009 and both certainly caught the eye of Dejan Papic the programme’s head coach and Zita Pidl, the team manager.

Defeat on her very first visit to the table in the Junior Girls’ Singles event at the Czech Junior and Cadet Open in Hodonin, 15 year old Doo Hoi Kem made amends in the Junior Girls’ Team competition on Saturday 18th February 2012.
The top Junior Girls’ Singles seed, she had been beaten by the in-form Serbian Aliz Durcik; in the final of the Junior Girls’ Team competition Doo Hoi Kem dispelled any notation that she did not merit her high ranking status.

France and Germany, currently the two major forces in European table tennis, won the respective Cadet Boys’ and Cadet Girls’ Team titles at the Czech Junior and Cadet Open in Hodonin on Saturday 18th February 2012.
Both occupied the top seeded place in the draw and both teams secured the top prize without ever being extended the full five match distance.

Represented by Li Ching Wan, Doo Hoi Kem and Ng Ka Yee; Hong Kong, the top seeds in the Junior Girls’ Team event at the Czech Junior and Cadet Open in Hodonin, duly finished their first stage matches in first place in their group on Friday 17th February 2012.

Not seeded and making his debut on the ITTF Junior Circuit, Xin Zhaoxu won the Junior Boys’ Singles title at the Czech Junior and Cadet Open in Hodonin on Thursday 16th February 2012, to claim further success for Singapore on the second day of action in the eastern European country.
Earlier in the day Zhou Yihan had won the Junior Girls’ Singles title and had partnered colleague, Lin Ye to Junior Girls’ Doubles gold.
