Ma Long Wins Swedish Open Crown to Complete Hat-Trick of Titles |

Three days after his 23rd birthday, China's Ma Long made it three in a row in the country with three crowns on the national badge.
He won the Men’s Singles title at the Swedish Open in Stockholm on Sunday 23rd February 2011 and thus won his third consecutive such title on the ITTF Pro Tour.
In September, he won in Suzhou at the Harmony China Open, whilst one month later in Schwechat, on the outskirts of Vienna, he succeeded at the Austrian Open.

Guo Yan Reverses Yokohama and Rotterdam Decisions to Win in Stockholm |

At the H.I.S. World Championships in Yokohama in 2009, Guo Yan was beaten by Liu Shiwen in the fourth round of the Women’s Singles event; two years later and one round later, she suffered the same fate at the hands of her Chinese National Team colleague at the GAC GROUP 2011 World Championships in Rotterdam.
Furthermore, Guo Yan did suffer, on both occasions she was beaten in four straight games, soundly beaten.

Wang Liqin and Yan An Bridge Generation Gap to Win at First Attempt |

At the very first attempt, on the very first occasion they had joined forces; China’s Wang Liqin and Yan An won the Men’s Doubles title at the Swedish Open in Stockholm on Sunday 23rd October 2011, upsetting the seeding in the process.
At the final hurdle they overcame the Hong Kong partnership of Jiang Tianyi and Tang Peng in seven games to arrest the title.

China’s Guo Yan and Guo Yue justified their top seeded position in the draw, to win the Women’s Singles title at the Swedish Open in Stockholm, beating the second seeded Japanese duo of Hiroko Fujii and Misako Wakamiya at the final hurdle on the afternoon of Sunday 23rd October 2011.
The Chinese duo succeeded in five games (11-7, 11-9, 11-4, 14-16, 11-4) and in so doing won their fifth ITTF Pro Tour Women’s Doubles title as a pairing and their third in 2011..... |
