Wang Hao won the Men’s Singles title at the China Mobile Asian Championships in Yangzhou on Sunday 23rd September 2007 beating colleague Ma Long in the final, having overcome Korea’s Oh Sang Eun at the penultimate stage.
In both matches Wang Hao was aggressive, positive, a man with a mission.
He overcame Oh Sang Eun by the margin of 11-6, 11-7, 10-12, 11-6. 9-11,11-6 before accounting for Ma Long in straight games; he beat Ma Long Long 11-8, 13-11, 11-9, 11-7.

On Sunday 23rd September 2007 in Yangzhou, China; Zhang Yining underlined the reasons why she is the number one ranked player on the ITTF Women’s World Rankings and why she has occupied that spot since January 2003.
In both the semi-final and final stages of the Women’s Singles event at the China Mobile Asian Championships she was absolute perfection.
At the penultimate stage she beat Chinese national team colleague. Guo Yan 12-10, 4-11, 11-5, 11-9, 11-9 before accounting for Li Xiaoxia in the final 11-8, 11-7, 11-7, 5-11, 11-3.

Ma Long in Devastating Form at China Mobile Asian Championships |

China’s nineteen year old Ma Long beat the reigning Olympic champion, Korea’s Ryu Seung Min with a devastating display of attacking play at the quarter-final stage of the Men’s Singles event at the China Mobile Asian Championships in Yangzhou on the morning of Sunday 23rd September 2007.
It was a contest that further endorsed the fact that he is very much the player to watch in the next decade.
The Korean penholder had no answers to the tirade of attacking strokes unleashed by Ma Long.

Guo Yue, the newly crowned World champion was beaten at the quarter-final stage of the Women’s Singles event at the China Mobile Asian Championships in Yangzhou on the morning of Sunday 23rd September 2007 by the player she overcame in the final to capture the coveted title in Zagreb in May.
She was beaten in six games by her doubles partner and compatriot, Li Xiaoxia.
Li Xiaoxia won 12-10, 11-8, 6-11, 9-11, 11-7, 11-9.

The host nation’s Hao Shuai and Ma Long won the Men’s Doubles title at the China Mobile Asian Championships in Yangzhou on Saturday 22nd September 2007 beating their compatriots Chen Qi and Wang Hao in the final.
Meanwhile, in the Women’s Doubles event success went the way of Guo Yue and Li Xiaoxia.
They defeated the reigning World and Olympic champions, Wang Nan and Zhang Yining to win an all China final. |

Hong Kong’s Lin Ling, the defending champion, suffered defeat in the third round of the Women’s Singles event at the China Mobile Asian Championships in Yangzhou on Saturday 22nd September 2007.
She was beaten in straight games by the newly crowned Women’s Singles World champion, China’s Guo Yue; the player who succeeded in May in Zagreb
Seeded two, Guo Yue won 11-9, 11-7, 11-9, 11-9.

Korea’s Oh Sang Eun and Kwak Bang Bang won the Mixed Doubles title at the China Mobile Asian Championships in Yangzhou on Saturday 22nd September 2007.
They beat Hong Kong’s Ko Lai Chak and Tie Yana in the final.
