Early in the afternoon of Sunday 10th April 2011 in the southern Spanish city of Almeria, Korea’s Kim Min Seok held one match point in the seventh game in his Men’s Singles semi-final duel against the top seed, Vladimir Samsonov of Belarus.
He went for glory, the forehand topspin directed down the parallel to the forehand of his adversary flew long; the chance had gone, Vladimir Samsonov won the next two points and thus progressed to the final at the Spanish Open.
